Josh Smith
& the Frost

Josh Smith is young...extremely young, but he plays the guitar as well as someone ten (20?) years older that he is. By the time he was 15, he had jammed with Jimmy Thackery, Kenny Neal, Lucky Peterson, Matt Guitar Murphy, Johnny Clyde Copeland, Kim Simmons, Double Trouble, Debbie Davis, Chris Duarte and Joanna Conner. and others. From Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he has been sitting in with seasoned musicians since he was 13. He has two CD's out with his previous band 'Josh Smith and They Rhino Cats", 'Born Under A Blue Sign' and 'Woodsheddi'n.

His latest group is "Josh Smith & the Frost", a power trio with guitar, bass and drums. Overall, his guitar playing is great and you will be hearing more of him in the future.

He has a new CD out "Too Damn Cold" released in November 97, and is available for $15.00. Send check or money order to:

He recently played "The Bank" @ 701 Main Street in Daytona, Florida (20 Sept 97) and the time he has spent on the road has really improved his playing, and help define his own style. Along with playing the songs from his new CD, he really won over a full house crowd with his playing and stage presence. Following are pictures from the show at "The Bank" [by the way its a REAL bank with vault and everything...pretty cool place]
