The
Rob Thorworth Trio... Rob Thorworth has released a new CD (June 23, 98) and is starting to tour with his new band "The Rob Thorworth Trio". Formed from the remains of the deceased band Gravy, Rob Thorworth has put together another great blues/rock band. They put on a great set at the Sapphire Supper Club here in Orlando Fl on 13 Aug 98. The Sapphire Supper Club is one of the best (if not THE best) venue to see a live band here. The new band and songs are a bit more laid back, with shorter hair, and are bit more mature than the previous band Gravy but they still rock and play the blues with the best of them. Great band, great musicians, and great entertainers. Their set included original music from "Gravy", "Life Is Suffereing", various blues artists, Bob Dylin and Fleetwood Mac. The CD "Life is Suffering" is one of those that the more you listen to it the more you like it. Buy the CD. Murf highly recommends this band. Go check them out when they are in your area!!!! Rob's web site is currently under construction, but it should be up and operational soon. Keep checking. Visit Robs new Web Site: http://www.thorworth.com |

Chris has been with the band since the "Gravy" days and is a jazz-trained drummer who's since turned his talents to the blues. The Kid is a master of sleight-of-hand -- if you don't believe it, just ask him for a coin trick. Or better yet, watch him pound the skins. |
