People who write press releases (and reviews...I've done my share of reviews also) sometimes have to be creative with their writing. It's not that the writer is trying to put something over on the reader but generally because there is someone out there that will like any band....no matter how bad!

Middle-Eastern influences: Band used a sitar on one song.

Newest Pop Sensation: You've never heard of this act.
